Our Place Family Resource and Early Years Centre is a Family Resource Centre that offers Early Learning and Family Engagement opportunities to encourage the optimal development of children and families.

We are also a place for parents and caregivers of children up to age 6 to get information and support. Our Place runs the Ontario Early Years programs for Kitchener.

don't forget Please note; Our Place will be open summer hours during July and August.

Our Place will be closed Friday August 4th until Monday August 7th. The   centre will re-open Tuesday August 8th at 9:00am.

When families talk, read, sing, draw and play with shapes and numbers together, they are improving their skills for learning and life.

Project READ Literacy Network, a charitable organization in Waterloo Region, wants your help to understand more about how families engage together and what makes doing these things difficult.

Please complete this survey : Project Read Family Literacy Survey Your insights will give us ideas for how to help families develop the skills they need. This survey will take about 5 minutes to do. When you are done, ask anyone and everyone you know to do this survey, too. We know you may be getting this email more than once, so our apologies about that up front. Please only do the survey yourself once.

If you have any questions about this survey, please contact Jen Vasic at Capacity Canada: jennifer@capacitycanada.ca or (519) 504-5831.

Check out the 'How You Can Help' page to see what new fundraiser Our Place's Parent Committee is promoting.
