A plan is underway to give more
children and families in Waterloo Region
access to programs that help them learn,
grow and connect together. Programs for
children up to age six are available at
Ontario Early Years Centres (OEYCs); but
the Province is creating a better system
to deliver these programs. This involves
changing the name of OEYCs to EarlyON
Child and Family Centres.
In early January, EarlyON
signs will go up at OEYCs in the region.
These centres will continue to offer a
variety of programs and services that
support early learning and development,
engage parents and caregivers, and make
connections for families.
If you are a Mother of an
infant under 12 months and are experiencing
Postpartum Depression you may be eligible to
participate in a free one-day Cognitive
Behavioural Therapy workshop. An information
session will be held Wednesday March 21st
