VOLUNTEER REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS

Minimum age to volunteer is 14 years of age

Interest in working with families & children birth to 6 years of age.

Enthusiastic, patient, caring, mature, responsible and willing to work in a diverse environment

Be available on a regular basis i.e. once a week, ongoing, for a block of time.

Criminal Reference Check:
- You must be able to provide us with a criminal reference check upon
beginning your placement.
- A criminal reference check completed within a month of your interview will be accepted
- Our Place will provide you with a letter that you must take to the Police Department;
this will be provided at the time of your interview.
- Criminal reference checks will be returned.

You must provide us with 3 references (i.e. previous employer, volunteer position supervisor, teachers etc.)
