WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Our Place Family Resource and Early Years Centre offers free or low cost programming.
If you or your children are ill, we ask you do not attend programs. If you are registered in a program, please call the centre and to let staff know you will not be attending that day.
Our Place's Health and Wellness Policy
Programming can be held in the Outdoor Learning Area at any point during the School Readiness programs. Families are asked to dress your child(ren) for the weather outside.
Please remember to bring dry shoes to wear indoors. For safety reasons, wet shoes are not allowed to be worn in the gym or classrooms.
Refund requests processed before the first week of program will be subject to a $5 administration fee. Refunds will not be issued after the program has started.
For any unexpected closures and cancellations , please call us at 519-571-1626 *(star) 29 . A message will be recorded that lists any of the cancellations.
Our Place is a 'nut free' and 'scent free' centre. Our Place strives to keep participants who have sensitivities to all nuts and scents safe from these products.
In an effort to ensure the safety of everyone in the centre:
-EVERYONE is asked to sign in as they arrive in the centre as this helps keep Our Place a safer place for everyone.
- If you have a ride that is coming to the centre to pick you up to please let the front desk reception know. If staff know that you are expecting someone to check in and ask for you, they will be asked to sign in and they can then come to find you. If staff do NOT know of any pick up arrangements, the person will be asked to wait in the front hall while staff come to find you.
- The front doors are locked daily from 3:30-4:00 p.m. on Monday's, Tuesdays and Thursdays. The office will remain open during this time and anyone arriving at the centre must ring the bell to gain entry. Thank you to everyone in advance for their cooperation.
